About Us
Our Vision
Because of what Jesus has accomplished for us, we see ourselves as a church that is Sharing the HOPE of Jesus with All People. We see a world full of people who are filled with the HOPE of Jesus being ready to share that HOPE with others around them. We see a people who want to follow Jesus and pour out his love upon those in need of Hope. We see people living purposeful lives because of the joy that HOPE brings. Everything we do, every goal we have, every purpose we embrace is for the cause of giving others HOPE!
Our Mission
Our culture is a place where real life happens. Cars break, promotions are given, elections happen, cancer comes, families splinter, kids go off to college, engagement announcements and gender reveal parties—some things bring joy, while others things bring pain and suffering. Our world is a place of brokenness in which we all struggle. At Western Heights our mission is to offer genuine hope in this broken world to all people who need it. Hope is a person and his name is Jesus.
God, through Jesus Christ, offers a lasting hope to believers. In Jesus, hope is the expectation and knowledge of His forgiveness, daily peace and eternal life
(1 Peter 1:3-5).
As a church community, we experience this hope individually and corporately and are committed to sharing it with others. We do this as we:

HONOR GOD’S PLAN by building a faith foundation of essential practices for all of our faith community, by coming together in collective worship and welcoming believers into active, committed church life.

OPEN OUR HEARTS and develop intentional, deeply rooted Christian fellowship. We build this fellowship through discipleship groups, classes, mentoring and personal accountability.

PURSUE CHRISTLIKE MATURITY by equipping believers to serve God through their spiritual gifts and talents. In addition, we encourage and train believers for a lifelong journey of spiritual transformation and leadership.

ENGAGE IN OUTREACH through sharing the gospel within personal relationships and by supporting and participating in local, national and global missions.
